Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy one of Canada's most successful TV actresses was born on November 25, 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta. She was in Law and Order. Chris Noth was her co-star. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. Her father John Hennessy was a meat salesman as well as a sales/marketing executive, a job that required considerable traveling and led to frequent relocations for the family. Maxine the secretary mom of Maxine was the last of her family members when she moved from Kitchener Ontario in 1982. She then handed her daughter over to her maternal grandmother Eleanor. Jacqueline Hennessy is an identical twin and magazine writer in Canada as well as John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. are her brothers. Hennessy is of Irish, Swedish, Italian and French descent at the end of her father's line and has mostly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage on her mother. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, Kitchener Ontario. She used to act in Toronto's subway. Hennessy was the first actress to make her debut along with her sister on Dead Ringers, 1988. Her name was on the short list to play Dana Scully on The X-Files as per Gillian Anderson the actress who was eventually cast in the role. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple have two children.
