Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy one of Canada's most successful TV actresses was born on November 25, 1968, in Edmonton Alberta. The actress was in Law and Order alongside Chris Noth. Hennessy is from Edmonton, Alberta. Her father John Hennessy was a meat salesman, and executive in sales/marketing who required extensive travel and resulted in frequent shifts of the family. In 1982, her mother Maxine had to leave her family and the daughter was cared for mostly by Eleanor Her maternal grandparents who lived in Kitchener Ontario. Her twin sister Jacqueline is a magazine editor, and her brother John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. was raised in Canada. Hennessy's father is Irish and Swedish. Her mother has an amalgamation with Ukrainian Roma, Austrian and Austrian. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and later was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener Ontario and used to perform busking on the Toronto subway. She and her sister were the first twins to make their debut as call girls on the 1988 film Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who played Dana Scully at The X-Files said that she was considered for the part. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two sons.
