Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. The actress is famous for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in a creative environment. At first she began as an photographer's assistant. Later on she shifted her focus towards modeling and directing. Her name was highlighted in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international hit, earning the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies she was deemed the most successful female film in the history of box offices. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were made in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was released. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
