Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and animal rights activist. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. At first she was employed as an assistant in photography. Then her work changed to modeling and directing. In her first two films, she was recognized and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained her fame worldwide, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she was named the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and other. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
