Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). The daughter of an artistic family in New York she wished to be a part of the art. When she was assistant to photographers She turned her focus to acting and modeling. Her first two movies got noticed and earned her recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three films MacGraw was named as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. The Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and other. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
