Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in the US. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. The daughter of an artistic family in New York she wished to work in the field of art. The first job she had was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modelling and acting. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. In just three films, she became the top female box office actress worldwide. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
