Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and author who won several awards. Ali MacGraw is known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an creative family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. Her first two movies, she was recognized and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films she was deemed one of the most successful women at the box office in history. Her handprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on include The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three occasions.
