Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in the US. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). The desire to become an artist was influenced by her upbringing in the New York family of artists. While working as a photographer's assistant then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. The award she received was her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within just three short films, she became the top female box office actress in the entire world. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was released. MacGraw married three people.
