Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the US. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most well-known films. Born and raised in a family of artists living in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. Her two first films were noticed and she received an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female box-office start around the globe. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972.
