Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most well-known films. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. Her first two movies, she was recognized and won the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world recognition along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three films she was deemed one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and others. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw's been married three different times.
