Zoe-perry
Perry was born on the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both the two shows she starred in on Roseanne. She did not pursue acting as a career until she reached adulthood, as her parents were afraid of the negative consequences stress can cause. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began to perform in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry moved to New York, where she was offered small roles in shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The feeling of homesickness led Perry home to California which was where theatre jobs were in demand. Perry was a part of the cast with her mother as part of The Other Place at Broadway, back in 2013. In 2015, she performed with her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of the ABC drama The Family in 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC political drama Scandal that starred her dad. Also, she was cast on her role on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. The role was given by audition even though she is a relative to the character.
