She is a renowned athlete within American History. She is one of six female athletes to win every event of the World Cup circuit. In total, she's won the prestigious 82 World Cup championships. An elite skier and one of the most successful ski racers have decided to retire after the World Championships that are taking place in Sweden. She retired after a long list of health issues. Social media was utilized to make her announcement of retirement.
