Ina Garten has been known as a well-known American writer of cook books for a number of seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget documents. She initially adored the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she quickly began to lose interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. Before selling the business the store, she worked for 18 years building it into an extremely successful business. The cookbooks were followed by many more as well as magazine columnists that came later. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous success. In addition, she offers products that range from food items to storage containers and tools. Ina has never been to any cookery schools or had a job in a restaurant. She is completely self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed style of cooking and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include easy recipes like Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
