Rachelle Lefevre

Rachelle Lefevre, a Canadian actress, was born. In the course of waiting tables, she was found by an Canadian film producer, who to her credit, was able to help the aspiring actress land her first role as an actor. She then moved to Los Angeles and earned a regular role on the TV series What About Brian (2006). Lefevre's acting ambitions were discovered by a Montreal-based customer while she was working as a teenager at the restaurant. This show put her into contact with an agent for casting. This eventually led to being cast in the Canadian sitcom. Her appearance was in a number of shows of David. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004). That led her to a starring character in the U.S. adaptation of the BBC popular Life on Mars. Her family's heritage is French, though Lefevre grew as a child speaking predominantly English but she ultimately moved into Los Angeles in 2004 due to a shortage of parts that spoke English in Montreal. Her biggest role in a film, which was Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. The film is the first of a popular novel series for teenagers.
